The second-hand cars exported from Horgos Port are mainly new energy vehicles, which exit the country through the "border bridge handover" method, and are mainly exported to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries. The vehicles used in most cities in Central Asian countries are left-hand drive vehicles as in China, and local residents have a high degree of acceptance of my country's cost-effective used cars.
"With the advantages of ports and the export policy of used cars, it not only brings business opportunities to car companies, but also activates the domestic new energy vehicle circulation market." said Zhu Xiaoyu, general manager of an international freight forwarding company in Horgos. At present, the company has exported a total of 120 second-hand vehicles, of which 118 are new energy vehicles.
Ma Yongfeng, deputy chief of the first division of Horgos Customs Supervision, said that in order to further improve the customs clearance efficiency of exported used cars, the customs will connect with enterprises in advance, and take facilitation measures such as early declaration and staggered customs clearance to comprehensively improve the level of intelligent customs clearance supervision.
