Zengcheng customs officers supervise international trains

From January to August this year, a total of 194 international trains have been supervised and operated, with a value of 4.66 billion yuan, which is 3.71 times and 3.65 times more than the total number of last year, accounting for about 50% of the number of international trains in Guangzhou, accounting for Guangdong 36% of the number of trains operated in the province has effectively promoted Zengcheng West Railway Station to become the train dispatch platform with the highest density of trains in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The frequency of opening lines is encrypted, and the radius of goods collection is gradually increased. "For more than a year, Zengcheng West Railway Station has achieved daily shipments from one train a week, which has directly driven a substantial increase in freight volume. In July and August this year alone, the monthly value of goods exceeded 100 million US dollars." From January to August this year, Zengcheng West Railway Station issued a total of 37 trains with a value of more than 5 million US dollars, an increase of 12 times compared with last year. The categories of goods have expanded from the original clothing, building materials, small household appliances and other products to automobiles, photovoltaic modules, etc., achieving diversified development.
In addition, Zengcheng Customs has also actively promoted the implementation of the "railway express customs clearance" model, adopted facilitation measures such as "7×24 hours" scheduled customs clearance, priority inspection, etc. Special personnel track the process of customs declaration, customs transfer data transmission, review and release, and data write-off, etc., to promote the rapid customs clearance of international trains in an all-round way, and to successfully achieve faster customs clearance time and higher customs clearance efficiency. From January to August this year, the overall customs clearance time of cross-border international trains has been shortened to 48 minutes. A single box can save more than 200 yuan in costs, and customs clearance efficiency has increased by 49%.
